Background
Soilpro began operation in April 1994 as a partnership (Soilpro Technical Services) and was incorporated as a private limited operation (Soilpro Technical Services Sdn Bhd) in March 1996. The main reason for the change was basically long term business continuity and the need to enhance organisational identity.

Statement of Authority
Soilpro is aiming to offer to all clients a standard of service consistent with the requirements of the draft Laboratory Quality Manual for all services described. The MD is assuming the role of both the Technical Manager and Quality Manager. In a statement of authority, the Quality Manager is delegated the authority and responsibility for ensuring that the requirements for the Laboratory Quality Manual are met and the quality policy is adhered to. The Quality Manager shall be afforded the full support and freedom of action to perform his duties effectively. In case of absence of the Quality Manager, the Assistant Quality Manager shall be the nominated deputy. The Technical Manager and Assistant Quality Manager shall be approved signatories to sign the Laboratory's calibration certificates and or/test reports and test certificates, and to take responsibility for their content. The authority and responsibility for the day to day running of the laboratory and services are delegated to the Laboratory Manager.
